Yay another year has gone by without a blog post!
Heavy sarcasm. MOVING ON!
In the last year or so a lot has changed.
And even more has stayed the same.
Tonight, I had leftover gumbo from my mom with my cousin Katie. She's a freshman here at Ole Miss this year. We watched Harry Potter and made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Pretty ballin night if you ask me. A lot of friends went out but I just wasn't feelin it. I'd rather stay in and chill than get wasty pants on frigid nights like this. Oh mind you it's only October 24th. It's going to be a collldddd winter.
I moved into a new place in August and I'm obsessed. Actually that's an understatement. My mom and I worked our butts off making things for the new crib. I'll def post pictures when I get it exactly the way I want it. Which will probably be in 6 months because I'm just like my mom and nothing is ever finished when it comes to interior design because how can it be finished if you don't have all of the things that you want and you can never have everything you want because there are always new awesome and beautiful things coming out. Ugh. Why do I love this stuff so much?
Well obviously my bedroom isn't finished. My bedding is complete (what??) and I have most of the big things I wanted furniture wise but I'm still looking for a few pieces. I would love a crushed velvet tufted bench for the foot of my bed. I want a couple (hundred) prints from etsy to add to my "gallery wall." I only have one thing hanging on my big empty wall and I'm okay with that for now even if it isn't anywhere near the center that makes it look like it's finished. I need two matching lamps on my dresser... which is a beautiful antique my Nana left my mom. It has these amazing teeny tiny lined drawers on the top for jewelry which solved that storage problem. I'm still looked for other things to add to the top to make it more personalized and more me. I'd love a black and white lattice/geometric rug. It'd be beautiful in my fun bright colored space. It's so hard living in a small town looking for affordable items for the home.

Like seriously when I'm on pinterest my heart skips a beat and I get butterflies when I see beautiful rooms. I think I need to rethink my major..... obviously ^^ that makes me excited. More on that later.
