It's OK Thursday!

Okay so I'm doing my first "link up" in the blogging world with Neely at A Complete Waste of Makeup. I've seen it on other blogs and always thought it was cute so here goes nothing!

IT'S OK...

To spend the entire day fixing up your condo with your dad on your day off from class.

To not go to dinner with your dad because your sister is being a brat.

To want to redo your room as soon as you finish decorating it.

To make a mess of your whole downstairs and hide in your bed until you feel like cleaning it up.

To make four trips to Home Depot in one day.

To sleep with an old stuffed bunny rabbit as a sophomore in college.

To drink Diet Coke like it's your job.

To learn how to be handy around the house at 19.

To want to eat sushi every single day.

To be a month late buying your BF a Christmas gift.

To fight with your bestfriend over something you believe in.

To not talk to said best friend for a few days while you both cool down.

To be so perfectly content in your relationship.

To finally turn over a new leaf in your life.

To blog because it feels good to put something out there.

Wooo! That actually was really nice!! I will def try and remember to do this next week!

Have a happy day!

Sup Pup!

Hello world, I would like to introduce my new puppy to you!

She is the most precious thing in the world! My family dog, Chaney, had puppies on December 14th and all 7 of them are beautiful. They are full bred Golden Retrievers and all of them are so sweet with amazing dispositions!

My mom surprised me by saving one for me and told me I could keep her if I felt like I could take care of her. I was very hesitant at first because puppies are a huuuge responsibility, but after talking to a friend who got a puppy at my age I was convinced I could handle it.

I am in love! (Sorry Elliott!)

Every since I decided to keep her, I have felt like I have a child!! It is actually quite ridiculous. I have about 100 pictures of her on my phone and show them off to anyone who will stop long enough to look! I'm like one of those annoying parents who's child made honor roll or won a track meet. She can't move into my condo for another 2 to 3 weeks since she is only a month old so I'm basically dying not having her with me right this second.

I took her to my boyfriend's fraternity house and all of those boys are obsessed with her! I was told that I couldn't ever come back unless I brought her with me and she has been dubbed the new SAE mascot. It was so funny hearing every single guy come into the room and immediately talk in a baby voice!

I mean look at her! How could you not love her?!

I'm not sure that I even have any readers, but if you're out there help me pick a name!
I'm loving:
Scarlett
She's very independent and sassy sometimes!
Honey
She's honey colored and sweet!
Sippi
For my home state of good ole MissisSippi!
Daisy
One of my favorite flowers! Who doesn't love a daisy?

Give me some feedback and let me know!

Obviously..

.. I am the world's worst blogger. I check on this little thing maybe once a month? It's just so hard to want to keep up with it when I don't even know how to make it cute! I guess I need to invest a little more time into figuring that out. Later! ;)

Christmas break has come and gone. Tomorrow is the first day of my second Spring semester at Ole Miss. This is exciting and scary to me. It means I'm getting older and I do not like the sound of that!

Tonight was stormy so my first day of classes will be brought in with the rain. Walking around campus in the rain is so much fun!... not. But I guess the plus side is that I get to wear my new hot pink Hunter's and they always seem to put a little more pep in my step. I need to buy the fleece socks that fit them so I can wear them on campus instead of tennis shoes or boots while it's still cold out.

How cute would those be peeking over my pink wellies!? I need them!

My dad is coming into town tomorrow and will be here for the next week! I'm excited to spend more time with him like I did over Christmas break. We really bonded and our relationship is so much better after I stayed at his house in south Georgia for a few nights. I also plan on putting him to work in my condo hanging curtains, fixing a cabinet or two, etc. I'm sure he won't mind too much!

I have, yet again, decided to give this whole blogging thing another shot. My goal is to post at least once a week. I know that's not much but it's wayyy better than what I have been doing! So hopefully I'll be checking in later this week : )
