Georgia Weekend!

My boyfriend (Elliott) and I have been patiently waiting for this weekend all year. He's from Atlanta and has many, many friends that go to UGA. He himself is a huge fan of the school because his dad finished law school there and well he's from Georgia and you pull for your state school right? Unfortunately, he has let me know he's pulling for the Dawgs this weekend. No loyalty! Whatever I'm still pulling for my Rebs and always will.

208 in Downtown Oxford

Tonight, Shelby and I are going to my favorite restaurant, 208, with Margaret and her family. I'm super excited because we're following dinner with a huge party at Frank and Marley's! SAE rented out the fab piano bar and I'm more than ready to be downtown for the second time this semester! (Screw you abc) Late night at SAE with the gang I'm sure will come after.
Hotty Toddy for Georgia weekend!!

"It's okay, we're going on an adventure."

My my my where to start about this weekend! Nashville was more fun than I ever imagined it could be. I had so much fun every minute and I would do anything if I could repeat it in the near future. I'm going to break down the weekend by day so it's a little easier to keep organized.

Thursday
After the drive to Nash with Nola and the others, we were welcomed with a delicious home cooked meal from Mama Jill. She is the sweetest lady ever and made everyone feel special by making our requests. How nice is that?! She then followed dinner with her special mojitos and those things were divine! I could drink them all day I swear! We ended the night bonding on the porch. It was a very nice chill night.

my best friends

Friday
The girls woke up early to another wonderful home cooked meal and then headed straight to the new Nordstrom's. I could have stayed there all day gazing at the purses and shoes. #heavenly After the mall, I went to Molly's with Kelsey and Karmen to see Caitlyn and Kaley. We were all crying from being so excited to see each other. It made me realize how beautiful true friendship really can be and how lucky I am to have such wonderful friends. That night ended with a bunch of empty champagne bottles and a lot of great pictures.

Some of the crew at Rippy's

Saturday
Kaley, Caitlyn, and I started the day at Starbucks for Pumpkin Spice Lattes and a little bonding before everyone else woke up. When we got back to Molly's everyone was getting ready not for the game, but for the party. We are Ole Miss students after all. ;) Everyone headed to a great place called Rippy's on Broadway in downtown Nashville that ended up being the hub for the Ole Miss crowd. I saw so many people I knew and ran into people I haven't seen in forever. It was such a nice time! In fact, I was there for 12 hours!! It went by so fast because I was with all of my closest friends and having the time of my life. Around 8 o'clock Kaley and I wondered a few blocks from the bar to a convenient store where we ate cereal and pop tarts for dinner. Every block that went by Kaley kept repeating, "We're going on an adventure. It's an adventure right?" It was actually pretty hilarious. We returned to Rippy's to more drinks and singing with the band and happier than we could be. However, at 3 am I ended up in a cab alone (a huge no-no of mine) heading to Rich's house when I got lost and ended the night in tears. Thankfully I made it safely to Rich's and Kaley was there to make everything better.

All in all it was an amazing weekend and I wouldn't change any part of it for anything in the world. I just wish all of my friends would come back to Ole Miss and it didn't just have to be a weekend adventure but an every weekend adventure.

Vegas Baby!

Okay okay so not Vegas Vegas, but NashVegas counts for something right!? Ole Miss plays Vandy away this weekend and of course I'm going since half of my friends are from Nashville. I'm super excited to be going out of town for the weekend with all of my besties! And I mean ALL of them!! Kaley and Caitlyn are even coming up from Florida! I love Oxford and all but it's nice to have a break every now and then. My only sadness this weekend will be when I go to the mall to the brand new Nordstrom's and can't buy anything because I am a very frivolous person when it comes to money and I have already blown my allowance. However, that is changing soon! More on that to come next week.

Downtown Nashville

I'm also super pumped about my outfit! My dress is even cuter than this one but this is the closest I could find on Polyvore. (which I'm still trying to get the hang of)

Presh right!? I'm sure I'll have lots to write about over the weekend! Hotty Toddy Yall!

Nothing wrong with a little T Swift

About a year ago, Taylor Swift's CD Speak Now was released on one of the hardest days I've had in college. I listened to every song over and over again until they were familiar and meaningful... just like every other song of hers. I am so excited to say that this weekend one of my best friend's and me are going to see her in concert!! Nashville for the weekend is going to be amazing! Woo!
